Travel Companions

This year, for many reasons, I've decided to see if I could find someone compatible to travel with.

I love traveling alone, but there are drawbacks. It *can* get lonely. Especially at mealtimes. I love showing off my favorite travel destination to folks, and I rarely get that chance. And, it would just be nice having someone around to chat with.

I adore planning travel. Especially budget travel! So, that challenge is always a good one for me. Two can travel more cheaply than one (yes! it's true!).

I think it will be most enjoyable.

Anywho! That's my two cents' worth for today.

The countdown has begun!

Well, I did it. I cashed in the frequent flier miles I'd accumulated and booked a trip for England next September.

Some folks think I plan way too early! It actually provides me with a lot of mental fodder for the few months between booking and travel. I love toying with my schedule, tweaking things, changing things... so it should be a wonderful time (assuming I have the money to actually go!). hehe.

My next job will determine a lot, I suppose. Speaking of which, if you know of a job (contract or permanent) for a senior tech writer, I'd love to know about it.
